Now Introducing our Integration with Bluesky!

Your music deserves to be heard—and recognized as yours. That’s why we are thrilled to announce a new integration with Bluesky. Artists with a Pro subscription are now able to easily link their Bandcamp and Bluesky accounts, allowing for seamless cross-platform identification.

As promised – It’s an easy process and the results are immediate. Ready to level up your artist profile? 

Here’s a detailed quick step-by-step guide to get you started. 

  1. Log into your Bluesky account.
  2. Navigate to your settings page: https://bsky.app/settings
  3. Select “Account” 
  4. Then “Handle” 
  5. And “I have my own domain”.
  6. Enter your Bandcamp URL in the domain field and select “No DNS Panel”.
  1. Copy the full string of characters that starts with “did:”
  2. In a new tab, navigate to your Bandcamp tools page and scroll down to the Bluesky Handle section.
  1. Paste the string of characters starting with “did:” into the “Bluesky DID” field and select “Save”.
  2. In the dialog that pops up, confirm the details match your Bluesky account and click “Confirm” to save the changes.
  3. Your Profile should now reflect the saved Bluesky account.
  4. Navigate back to Bluesky and select “Verify Text File”.
  5. You’re done!

  2. The irony isn’t lost on anyone that both on our “Thank you! Your purchase is now on your collection.” page and all over the Bandcamp interface, including on THIS VERY POST (see above), there are only share buttons to “Twitter” and “Facebook”. So, maybe extend the Bluesky love just a tiny bit more and add one for it, maybe, what do you say?
